Driving Lessons in Ballylickey
Bay road bends, crossroads junctions and mountain approaches
The N71 between Ballylickey and Bantry hugs Bantry Bay with tight bends. Speed limits change quickly. The road surface can be wet from spray. This stretch teaches you to read conditions and adjust your speed in real time.
The crossroads where the R584 meets the N71 has limited visibility. Turning right onto the N71 with traffic from both directions requires quick gap judgement. It is the junction that defines driving in Ballylickey.
The N71 north towards Glengarriff climbs through wooded valleys with steep gradients and tight bends in succession. Gear control and braking are tested on every trip. This is some of the most demanding road in West Cork.
Our EDT driving lessons in Ballylickey cover all 12 mandatory lessons on local roads. Whether you need automatic lessons or pretest preparation for Skibbereen Test Centre, view our lesson packages or call 021 2355558 to get started.
